These Terms of Service govern every purchase from, and every use of, the Aussie Peptide Co website. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Information, Returns policy and Legal Disclaimer, which form part of these terms.
1. Research use only
All products sold on this website are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are not therapeutic goods, are not registered with or evaluated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, and are not for human or veterinary use, consumption or administration in any form. By ordering you warrant that you are purchasing for lawful laboratory research, that you have the knowledge and facilities to handle the materials safely, and that you will not supply them to any person for any other purpose.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, have legal capacity to enter into a contract, and be authorised to use the payment method you provide. We may request information about your research setting and may refuse, cancel or limit any order at our discretion, including where we reasonably suspect the products are intended for a purpose other than laboratory research.
3. Product information
We take care to describe products accurately. Product pages summarise published laboratory research areas for general information only; they do not constitute claims about safety, efficacy or suitability for any purpose. Analytical results are batch specific and are published in the Certificate of Analysis for each batch. Images are representative. We may correct errors in descriptions, pricing or availability at any time, including after an order has been placed, in which case you may cancel for a full refund.
4. Orders, pricing and payment
Your order is an offer to purchase which we accept when we confirm payment and dispatch the goods. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment in full is required before dispatch. Where a price is obviously incorrect, we may cancel the order and refund any payment. Promotional codes cannot be combined unless stated and may be withdrawn at any time.
5. Dispatch, delivery and risk
We aim to dispatch orders confirmed before 2:00 PM AEST on business days the same day. Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Title and risk in the goods pass to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you supplied, or to the Parcel Locker, PO Box or collection point you nominated. Our Shipping Information sets out what we do when a parcel is late, lost or damaged.
6. Cancellations and returns
You may cancel or amend an order at any time before it is packed. After dispatch, sales are final except as set out in our Returns policy and as required by the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Handling and storage
You are responsible for storing and handling the products in accordance with the product documentation and with good laboratory practice from the moment of delivery. We are not responsible for degradation caused by storage outside the recommended conditions.
8. Consumer guarantees and liability
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, and other than as required by those guarantees, we exclude all other warranties and our total liability for any claim arising from a product is limited, at our election, to replacing the product or refunding the price paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of research data, time or funding, or for any loss arising from use of a product other than for lawful in-vitro research.
9. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, product data, images, the COA Library and our brand, is owned by or licensed to Aussie Peptide Co and may not be reproduced without written permission, other than a single copy for your own research records.
10. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
